Went up mams as she was moaning about not going anywhere in the nice weather, of course the sun went in didn't it but as it turned out mam liked that as she had been too hot. I took her to see Martha, the student daughter in Pontypridd. Martha has just moved into new lodgings, the last place she lived in was dark and dingy but the new place is like a breath of fresh air.
She has a lovely large living room and a back garden! An old fashioned bath stands in the middle of a modern bathroom with one of those big silver showers hanging overhead. You can swing several cats in her bedroom, in her last bedroom you couldn't fall out of bed as it was jammed in as tight as it possibly could in a tiny bedroom. Mam decided she wanted hake for lunch, so Martha and I set off on a quest to find some. Boy were we in trouble everyone had run out of hake, we had to jump in the car and drive into Pontypridd. Got stuck in the traffic jam on the roundabout leading into Pontypridd and had to wait for the man in the chip shop to fry the fish which turned out to be plaice as he had run out of hake too.
Returned to a very grumpy mam who had been left on her own wondering where on earth we had gone but thankfully she said the plaice was the nicest she had tasted in ages.
Yesterday fired off an email to Radio 4 the 'Today Programme' as they had said that they didn't know of any entrepeneurs in Britain whereas there were lots of them being positively encouraged in Silicon valley in California I told them about Georiga's datemysister.co.uk they interviewed Georgia over the telephone and today they mentioned the website in the same breath as lastmin.com on Radio 4 we were so happy. A mention on Radio Four how cool is that?
