Another letter on the table in a prominent position, great excitement because it is from the 'premium bonds' sent a text to my daughter to let her know it was there. 'letter from premium bonds, have you bought some or is it a win?'
One worded reply 'win' that was it, held it up to the light, danced around the kitchen, informed all the family not in work, Corrie has won the premium bonds. Amounts of money flashed in my imagination, £500 maybe £1000 it was ages to wait until Corrie finished work would I be able to stand the suspense.
I knew I wouldn't be at home when the great mystery would be solved as I had to go shopping.I was desperate to know by this time I had built it up to be between £500 and £5000 pounds....£50 ....what a let down!
