Polished off a bottle of red wine watching the sunset down in Ogmore last night. Funny how absolutely relaxed and contented you can feel after a couple glasses. Mobile phones are so handy, I was down there with my son and his wife and my grand-daughter when they were contacted by my other daughter Corrie via the mobile phone to ask if anyone wanted to go for a barbecue down the beach.

Unfortunately, Natalie and Richard had to return home as they have just had their back garden turfed and had to go to tend to it but I stayed and waited for Corrie and her friend Aled.
Aled is sort of an adopted family member he accompanies us on most of our holidays they came with sausages and lamb kebabs and two bottles of wine. Corrie couldn't drink because she was driving so it was up to Aled and myself to get stuck in with gusto.
Too much gusto if you ask me, I had to work today and I didn't feel 100 percent. Also when I got home last night I tucked into a cheese sandwich covered in tomato sauce, that kept me up in the early hours with indigestion. It was worth it though as the sunset was beautiful.
Designed my flag and tee shirt, well, it looks like I have made the effort and I must admit I did enjoy getting messy with the paints. It was funny sitting there with a blank canvas and a blank imagination I was starting to get worried but once the first splodge hit the surface I couldn't stop myself the ideas started to flow. I am no Stubbs as you can see above but I will wear it with pride.
Checked the long term weather forecast it shows rain is coming in but should be cleared up by next weekend.
