Drove through Penarth town yesterday, they have enough zebra crossings on the main street to start a whole new 'Tufty' club! (Tufty was the little soft toy used to demonstrate safely crossing the road by road safety officer's visiting schools when my children were little).
The people of Penarth seem to take it for granted that vehicles will stop as they come charging out of an arcade entrance straight on to the road. I counted 5 crossings on the main street two of them were leading on to roundabouts it is insane. I have come to the conclusion that they must have an elderly population and need to protect them. Hark at me elderly, I am considered elderly...
My fish tank is in a dreadful state due to the hot weather some really nasty algae has formed, big black balls of it and wavey green stuff it is disgusting so I have spent two days trying to clean it up. The tank is not mine it was my husband's I have no idea how to keep it spick and span.
I have bought new water filters, what I found most distressing this morning was watching the pregnant fish being chased ruthlessly by other fish. I found a dead one this morning, I felt so guilty. I am off down 'Pets at home' in a minute to seek advice. After all these poor little sods are relying on me to survive it is difficult enough in this world to live a hassle free life without some stupid woman putting obstacles in your way. I really feel for the pregnant fish they needs some help fast or they are going to end up like their friend dead on the bottom of my tank.
