I watch the highlights of 'Big Brother' every night at 9 p.m. I am fascinated by the interaction between the larger than life characters. I have to pat them on the back though because I had no idea about Tourettes until they featured Pete.
I was aware that there was a syndrome that caused people to shout out rude things randomly but I had never considered the person behind the Tourettes. I hate to admit it but I thought that they were mentally retarded it had never occured to me that they were average types of people who just had a desire now and again to shout out wierd things.
What does that say about me I wonder? Having said that I have never met a person with Tourettes, I have never come across it at all. I would imagine that Pete has done wonders for people in the same situation as he is and that there are a lot of people out there that will be more sympathetic and understanding of the condition.
I found the flirting card and contacted that guy, no reply as yet, not expecting one really, well, when I double checked the encounters board I found that I had contacted the wrong bloke! Yes, the bloke I should have contacted was on the next page!
So there is a man out there with a message from me saying how flattered I was he had left me a flirt card and how it had made my night etc. and he is thinking 'who the hell is this' Talk about unlucky in love, I would win the cup.
