I was so pleased to find out this morning that Glyn had come second to Pete. Even more happy that he has decided to turn his back on the shallow celebrity life in London and come back to Wales to study at Bangor University!
I loved his character in the house, genuine, homely, he promoted Wales and the Welsh language at every opportunity. I think he will become a big personality in Wales and will find more fame and fortune here, where we look after our own, than he would ever achieve in London. But it is not about the fame and fortune is it at the end of the day it is about respect and happiness, good health, family. In Wales he will be treated like we do our famous rugby players.....he will be loved and have the mickey taken out of him. But above all he will be regarded highly for not accepting the easy money and sticking with his principles and Wales.
