My 84 year old mother has been trying to look after a stray cat and her kittens. She has named the stray 'Tiddles'. Tiddles scrammed her down her arm when mam tried to remove one of her kittens to a warmer place

My mother is very unsteady on her feet and has been trying to negotiate the overgrown bushes at the rear of her bungalow to feed the little blighters. She hasn't been too well lately, but with all the potch and worry of the kittens her day has been full of feeding them and caring for them as best she can she seems to have a new meaning to her life.
They are to go to good homes tomorrow mam is putting on a brave face and saying that she is so pleased because of all the work they have caused her but I just know she is going to miss them, they have filled up the empty hours in her day. I tried to help catch them today ready for their new owners, how mam manages it I don't know because I got entangled on a thorn bush and had to give up. Managed to take a photograph of old blue eyes before he disappeared down a very narrow trench....
Had a letter from Day's Inn in America saying that the best resolution to the problem I had with the Day's Inn Atlantic City, would be achieved by direct communication between the property management and myself. They gave me his telephone number in America. Do people read letters these days...I told them in my letter I had spoken to the Manager when I was there and he was the most unhelpful man I have ever met. They are probably safe in the knowledge that I am in Wales and what possible difference could my opinion make.
