Went to Mumbles to pick up Aunty Hattie, I wanted to show her 'The Bee Orchid' my neice's new florist

Aunty Hattie was delighted as she watched Claire create a gold fish bowl display for her to take home. Claire explained that she wanted her customers to be involved in the creation of their purchases. She encouraged Aunty Hattie to choose the flowers she wanted to include in her bowl and then set about arranging them artistically. If you order a bouquet or a hand tie you are encouraged to take a seat at the counter, drink a cup of tea whilst watching it being created from scratch.
It is a mesmerising experience and lots of customers have commented how nice it had been to view their beautiful creations taking shape.
Off then across the road to show Aunty Hattie my daugher's new house, we sat in the garden in the sun-shine discussing family history. Aunty Hattie is red hot on the skeletons in our cupboard. I love to hear the story of an Aunty who emigrated to Canada, her husband got killed so the mother sent her funds to return home but the Aunty kept the money and stayed. That was unheard of in those days.
Family history is so interesting and scandalous! One Aunty ran off with her sisters husband, my ears were burning I can tell you.......
Finally off down Ogmore to fly a kite and take in the beautiful sunset, better make the most of it they say there is a hurricane on the way....
