These boots were made for walking..

Today was lovely and warm and sunny I was wishing I had not put on my big boots as I walked through Carmarthen town....

It was funny, I overheard two woman chatting in Welsh, moved on a little and three men were babbling away in Polish! It is getting quite common now to hear the Polish language spoken on the street. Perhaps I should start learning that instead of Spanish.
I was performing for a family day in the Civic Hall in Carmarthen, they gave me a warm Welsh welcome and the shows went very well, the children were very receptive. At half time I spotted that on one of the stalls they had a gentleman taking peoples blood pressure. Nothing better to do I sat down on the chair, well, I wanted to relax really and it was a good excuse. Relax, I don't think so, he told me my blood pressure was 'up' (not surprising mind you I had been dancing around on the stage like a lunatic} it was 130 over 90. He told me that he wasn't going to advise me to go to the Doctor it wasn't serious and that at my age it was to be expected.
I feel old now.....
