Are you being served?

It was mamgu Monday today. Casey arrived approximately 9 a.m. a little quiet but happy and hungry. Martha had the day off work so we decided to go to town and shop around...

Spent a pleasant time in 'Monsoon' trying on expensive gear, tutting and sucking in my stomach. There was a lovely top in there but it cost £50 and it was dry clean only, so we stuck in behind the counter for me to have a think.....still thinking....£50 is a lot of money but it was ever so pretty.
Claire and Rich of 'The Bee Orchid' wanted to go and view a property in Bridgend. Only one of them was able to go as the other had to look after the shop, I found myself offering my services. I arrived at the shop was quickly shown the brochures of hand tie and bouquets, given their mobile telephone numbers and there I was all alone waiting for my first customer.
I felt ever so important behind the counter, the door chimed, I looked up in expectation and there was Martha, Casey, Richard and Natalie, they had come down to give me moral support.
We all had a good half hour of fun playing shopkeepers. All too soon Claire and Rich came back and I had to relinquish my position behind the counter. It then occurred to me that I didn't have a clue how to operate the till. If someone had come in I would have had to have taken an I.O.U.
Father Ted is safe and sound in my front room. He is homesick poor dab he cries a soulful cry now and again. He is 10 times bigger than my little dog, but thankfully he is ignoring him at the moment. Goodness knows what will happen when they are left alone in the house, I will have to make sure they are locked in separate rooms.
