Shop till you drop
Up at 7 a.m. this morning as the sale in 'Monsoon' was due to start at 8 a.m. Arrived at the shop entrance at about 750 a.m. to find a small group of people assembled.

Big Blue Coat
Arrived at the shopping outlet where I was to meet with Heulwen the designer regarding my Big Blue Coat. I was nice and early, she had said she would be there at 6 p.m. I was armed with her mobile phone number just in case the meeting went pear shaped. I realised quite quickly when I arrived at the meeting place that I had no way of contacting her as I had forgotten my mobile phone. Not to worry the lovely young man who served me my coffee said I could use his mobile if the person I was supposed to be meeting didn't turn up. I think he thought that I had a blind date.

Well, it is 'Black Friday' this weekend, I mentioned that I was up for going out on 'Black Friday' and I was reprimanded and told I was not allowed to refer to it a 'Black Friday' anymore it had to be called 'Bleak Friday'

I've got a headache Father Christmas
I have had a very heavy cold this week, that's my only excuse for missing him, usually I am very aware of the quiet children in my audience and try and include them in the show but he slipped the net and only came to my attention when he stood very quietly to the side of Father Christmas and I remember thinking 'hello' where did you come from'

Error of my ways
I feel like a prize idiot, I received a comment regarding my purchase of a chihuahua on the M4 pointing out the error of my decision to buy a chihuahua without recognised papers....the only thing I will say in my defence was that I had the details from a chihuahua site on the internet, I assumed it was all above board, how wrong can one be....

Held at gunpoint
We sent our Georgia off with quite a lot of money to meet a stranger in a petrol station on the M4 at Reading, it wasn't until we had waved her off that we realised it could have been a con and that they could just take the money off her at gunpoint, apparently it is a new way of robbing people. They arrange a meeting knowing the person they are conferring with has quite a lot of money in readiness for buying a car or some other item they had previously advertised, buyer turns up and the seller demands the money at gunpoint.

I was in the post office yesterday sending off mam's will and death certificate 'registered post' for probate when I saw the brightly coloured Christmas cards displayed reminding Christmas shoppers to post early to avoid disappointment.....I raised my hand to take a closer look at a particular one that had taken my fancy then I turned to my daughter....
