Christmas stranger

I paid my membership to that site on the internet that advertises rooms to let and matches you up with people searching for places, with the result that I have a young man calling tomorrow to see if he likes what we have to offer.

Will we like him? Will the dogs like him? I have sort of prepared him for the fact that little Deri Dee is not house trained, you have to tread very carefully around our house. Dropped a heavy hint that I was laid back about housework. He didn't seem particularly bothered.
Thing is even though I am easy going with the dusting I have some strange ways, I always use a chopping board and hate people wearing their shoes upstairs. downstairs is okay because of the wooden floors and tiles but upstairs is carpeted. I hate listening to the advertisements in the middle of a television programme so I zap them. Having said that when I was nursing my mam and had to leave the house for a couple of weeks, Georgia went and lost the 'gizmo' and we are unable to change the channels without leaving our chair and pressing the button on the televison. Amusing really, as I have'nt heard the jingles in the advertisement for years, I have found myself saying 'Oh, that's what it sounds like' good grief I might even find some strange brands of food in my shopping trolley due to the mind boggling ditties that have been invading my mind.
Crossing my fingers he is going to be nice and that he is handy with a screw driver as the handle has fallen off my front door.
