Happy Christmas everyone....I haven't got any bread and not a lot of milk but other than that we are up to our eyes in nuts and chocolate.
I am sucked in every year, and every year I resolve not to buy so much. Black Friday in Cardiff was excellent. We met a gang of workers from Ebbw Vale who had hired a bus to celebrate their firms Christmas 'do' When we met them at 3 p.m. they were hammered and the bus wasn't coming to collect them until middnight. I wonder where they ended up?
Walk About was crammed packed with Christmas revellers. We danced and danced until my knee hurt so much I had to stop. Slept on the train home, woke up just in time to jump out at Bridgend station only to find I couldn't open the door. I had visions of ending up in Swansea so I cried 'Help' yes I actually shouted 'Help, I can't get off the train' a man jumped out of his seat and opened the door window as he couldn't open the door either and thankfully it opened and I tumbled out only to find my daughter on the station. She had travelled home on the same train, I thought she was staying for another dance.
We might have a new lodger in the New Year, he is very nice, the only reason he would not move in is because his work might be too far away from our house. I hope it isn't as we both liked him a lot.
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas!!!
