We waited expectantly for the knock on the door as the new lodger said that he would be arriving tea time. 'He's not coming' Georgia retorted 'Probably changed his mind' 'He is starting his job tomorrow, of course he has to come' I argued
No sign, and we were watching the final of 'Big Brother' ...'he will turn up in the interesting bit you watch' grumbled Martha. Just as Danielle was sitting in the chair being questioned by Davina there came a knock on the door. There he stood, bleary eyed after his long 31/2 hour drive from Liverpool. I muttered something about his room being on the top of the stairs but I couldn't miss the next bit of Big Brother so he would have to come in and suffer until the break for advertisements.
He sat in silence watching Danielle squirming on her chair as Davina really rubbed in the cruel taunts she had made to Shilpa during her time in the house. The advertisements appeared, I ran him up the stairs to his room. Quickly showed him the kitchen, gave him a key and then went back into the living room.
Poor dab got his stuff and stayed in his room, until I realised how unsociable I was being and relented and in the next advertisement break took him up a cup of tea and two chicken legs left over from dinner.
