Success at last....well, almost certain....I have to check out his references and he has misunderstood that he is going to have a bathroom en suite, if the shock of that revelation isn't too much I have myself a new lodger on Sunday.
His partner telephoned and with a thick Liverpool accent enquired if I still had the room. The only word I understood in the sentence was 'room' I felt really silly when I asked her to repeat what she had said....she didn't she put me straight on to her partner Ian. I could just about understand him. He has been successful in getting a job in Bridgend and is going to start on Monday. He is going to travel back to Liverpool every Friday night to be with his wife and baby and return on a Sunday night ready for his job on a Monday morning.
I wonder if this is a good idea as he will be knackered on a Friday night a long drive won't be very safe if he feels tired. Of course it would suit me just fine, weekend to myself, not that I get up to anything.
