I watch them all....the programmes that give advice on how to buy and restore houses so you would think I would have more of an idea about selling our mam's bungalow, not at all...
I was talking to the estate agent and asking advice on whether the time was right to put the bungalow on the market when he happened to mention that a property with the furniture still in it was better than an empty place...and what have my brother and I been busy doing this last week or two, yes you've guessed it we have been giving furniture away left right and centre to family and charity.
The lounge is almost empty! Of course when I mentioned it to the children they were amazed at our stupidity, everyone knows that you have to make a house appealing to the prospective purchaser don't they????
