Something in the air.

Disinfected the kitchen floor in readiness for a potential room renter. Took little Deri Dee out into the garden to make sure she had emptied her bladder then sat back and waited for the knock on the door.

A young lady called Samantha was standing there with her boyfriend John, very nice couple. I took them into the kitchen and too my dismay an awful smell of pee hit our nostrils, little Deri Dee had been at it under the fishtank!
I shouldn't have said anything because as it turned out Samantha had a cold and couldn't smell anything. They said they would get back to me but had quite a few other places to view. It looks like lots of people are renting out rooms in the Bridgend area I would imagine quite a few of them would be minus interesting disgusting smells
Glastonbury tickets are all the talk in our house, getting one is like winning the lottery these days since all the posh people have decided it is the hip place to go. I have to queue outside Millets in Bridgend first thing in the morning of the 1st of February as the organisers have decided to make everyone get application forms filled in this year. Every year they think up a new way of trying to fool the ticket touts and every year it becomes more difficult to buy a ticket.
We have a secondary plan though since the success of Gowerbury last year if we can't get tickets and we face that possibility every year, we will just all traipse down to the Gower and have our very own festival again.
