We arrived at The Bee Orchid bright and early dressed for business. Parking was a bit of a problem because there was a very keen traffic warden patrolling the road outside the shop most of the day...kept us on our toes.

I went out on delivery with my brother's wife Clare and my brother went out with the joint owner of the shop Richard. We were nick named Thelma and Louise and they were called Max and Paddy. If you ask me Max and Paddy had the easy run.
We had to find very obsure places at the back of what looked like deserted buildings. I was very good at driving up a narrow street delivering the beautiful bouquet to the blushing recipient and then taking 45 mins to turn my vehicle around again.
I didn't realise that people still liked to remain anonymous on Valentine's day, until we delivered one exceptional bouquet to a young lady and when she opened the card there was a huge question mark inside. 'Do you have a clue who would sent you such a lovely gift' I asked...'No, I don't' she answered looking very pleased with herself. At that her colleque offered some suggestions of the men that had chatted her up recently....lucky girl.
One of the narrow streets I had to negotiate just visable over Clare's shoulder.

Shame Brad Pitt didn't show up, but had a great day cruising and delivering. you are a much better at direction than people give you credit for, and we definatley had the harder runs despite what Max and Paddy say !!!
