Australia here I come! I have done it at last, I have booked my ticket! I can't believe I have actually visited the travel agent and confirmed my flights.
My brother came with me as he is a seasoned traveller, he knows all the ins and outs of flying in fact we sat for one and a half hours discussing with John the travel agent the best way of getting there, as I didn't want to be in the air for over 9 hours at a time.
He worked out a great itinary for me. On the way out I will visit Bali and on the way home I will visit Hawaii and Fijii. When I had handed over my credit card I felt very nervous parting with my money, I realised that some of the time I would be on my own in the exotic places I had booked, would I be able to cope? Well, there is only one way to find out and I am not getting any younger. I have always wanted to visit Bali and now I am going.
If anyone who reads this blog knows of cheap places to stay in any of the above places I would be ever so grateful for any recommendations. I am up for a holiday of a lifetime.
