I went on a walk with them the other day with my friend. She was shocked to see that when approached by a large dog I would scope Samui up into my arms and leave Deri Dee to her own devices. Kay gave me a dreadful row and accused me of favouritism, true of course, but I tried explaining to her that Deri Dee was perfectly capable of taking care of herself whereas Samjui wouldn't stand a cat's chance in hell of escaping the jaws of some of the dogs we met on the walk.
Deri Dee is desperate for affection and hates me showing any sort of attention to anyone other than her, it is very difficult because I have sort of got used to talking to Samui like a human being and he is so used to my ways.
