Purchased my Swedish Krona today. I am absolutely terrible at working out the exchange rates in my head when in a foreign country.

I am going to spend 13 days there in the home of a Swedish couple who have exchanged their place with my holiday apartment in Florida. It is called a Home Swap. It is far more exciting than staying in a hotel, Tove, the woman I am exchanging with has already sent me a huge email of interesting places to see and visit. Far better information than the "Lonely Planet" or any other guide you can buy can supply as the locals have more inside information than your average guide book.
