Alteration to plan. I must admit I was a little lonely sitting in front of the televison waiting for the match to begin. The phone rang it was my daughters, they knew I had never seen Wales playing against England in the millenium stadium game, an old man they had bumped into had a ticket would I like them to buy it for a Mother's Day gift they asked. Would I..
I ran to the train station jumped on the train and was in Cardiff by 1645 hours, met the girls and searched for our seats. Georgia's winning tickets had us seated on the ground floor with an excellent view of the match and what a game! We couldn't believe our eyes, what a baptism of fire for me I sang "Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau" as if my life depended on it and joined in the happy "Wales...Wales.." chant whenever our boys stood in front of us in the line out.
The crowd went wild with pride when the final whistle was blown, I was so happy I actually saw Wales beating England on my first outing to the millenium statium.
What a great day....we won!
