My Australian lodger was chatting to his mam and dad on the internet the other evening and they mentioned that they wanted to come over and explore Europe.
They want to visit, Scotland, Ireland and France and also planned to stay in Bridgend to spend time with their son. When I asked exactly what date they were expected he told me they thought August would be a good time, funny thing is I will be in Australia in August.
Ping an idea sprung into my mind. I told Chris (my lodger) that if they wanted to have my bedroom when I was away they were very welcome to it. They would save money and see him at the same time.
My daughters thought that was funny as my bedroom smells of pee as little Samui has a habit of waking up in the night and peeing in the corner on newspapers. As if I wouldn't give it a good clean...anyway Samui and Deri Dee would be in the kennels...
