I trotted along to the Tourist Information Centre to find out how to get around on cheap transport, they were very obliging and said that the 5 dollar day pass was my best bet and directed me to the bus station.

Monkey Business
Well, I had a stand off with a monkey today....it's not often that one can lay claim to having a fight with a monkey. I was taken to the sacred monkey forest sanctgurary in Padangtegal near Ubud Bali. It all started when I saw that he was holding a ginger kitten in his hands. The poor little thing was not happy..

Mamgu the Millionaire
I almost fainted when they gave me a huge wad of money in the hotel lobby. With a sparkle in her eye the cashier said "you are a millionaire in Balli" ...and I was...I looked at all the zero's staring at me on their paper money and I thought "Oh, heck" everyone who knows me will tell you that I am absolutely hopeless with cash.

Clean as a new pin...
With my mamouth trip on the horizon I took a long hard look at the house. My lodger Chris has his parents coming over when I am away, they will sleep in my bedroom. They are coming over from Australia and I am visiting their wonderful country.

Siarad yn Cymraeg
I was working in a Welsh school today. I arrived a little early as a result I found myself waiting with the mums for the children to enter the building. I always use any opportunity I can to brush up on my Welsh as no-one in my family speaks it I have to search out strangers to "amarfer" practice.

Gran's real fur coat
There it hangs in the cupboard. A beautiful real fur coat. When my gran bought it, it was her pride and joy, she paid for it to be kept at a certain temperature in a special shop in Cardiff, taking it out to wear at weddings and special occasions .
