I almost fainted when they gave me a huge wad of money in the hotel lobby. With a sparkle in her eye the cashier said "you are a millionaire in Balli" ...and I was...I looked at all the zero's staring at me on their paper money and I thought "Oh, heck" everyone who knows me will tell you that I am absolutely hopeless with cash.
It just cost me 50,000 of their money to type this blog....I awoke this morning to a beautiful sunny day. I went down to breakfast, met up with my representative and arranged to have a massage and an elephant ride tomorrow.
The hotel is right on the beach front. I strolled along the shore only to be approached by a number of locals selling their wares. Luckily I didn't have any money on me as they quickly found out my name, they are not daft, they know once they have your name they have some kind of hold over you.
The locals ride their bikes like "Evil Kenivel" they weave in and out of the traffic, whole families hanging on for grim death. There are carvings everywhere and lots of beautiful flowers. I ended my evening this evening in a bath full of flowers. I hope my elephant will like me tomorrow.

Glad you are ok. You won't be on your own for long, we are all getting ready now to come over,. Enjoy the elephnat ride. Gareth and I went on one in Thailand, I couldn't believe how agile they were for their size.
