My elephant encounter.

Travelled in a bus with an Australian family to the Elephant park. I tried not to talk my socks off but ended up telling them all about the up and coming Australian Wedding..

I would have thought that they would have had enough of me but they invited me to join their table at lunch so I wouldn't look like "Billy no mates" they actually came and searched me out in the park. It made my day so much nicer.
After one unsuccessful attempt to board the elephant I made it and was introduced to the young man who looked after her...he was called Rye and she was called Samitrie or something like that and was a rescue elephant, he obviously adored her.
We went on a short trek through the jungle and ended up in water splashing around. Then I had to get off again, very hair - raising moment I can tell you but worth every effort. Along came a little baby elephant, she was such a character, I loved the way that you could get up and close and feed them.
I am going to chance my luck walking along the beach tonight. I am not going to tell anyone my name and my purse is hidden so they won't know I have money on me. I would love to fall into some beautiful dancing, graceful show.
