We went out looking for a bit of exicitement and boy did we find it. Roger asked around to try and find somewhere with a bit of "go" in it as our place was very quiet and sedate. A guy he trained with suggested a place called "Uprising" just down the road from us so off we set full of expectation.
We instantly liked the vibe of the place and sat at the bar shortly to be joined by an Australian lady called "Nancy" soon we had ordered a wicked looking cocktail as I was enjoying mine I happened to notice over Roger's shoulder a big Fijian bloke rising out of his chair with an angry look on his face.
I tapped Roger on the shoulder but he didn't respond as he was wrapped in conversation with Nancy. The man took a huge swipe at the back of the head of the man in front of him and all hell broke loose. Still no sign from Roger and Nancy, I jumped up and poked Roger and signalled to Nancy to run. You could see the penny dropping on their surprised faces as Nancy beat it but Roger hung around and rescued the drinks.
We were then treated to the most amazing display of fisty cuffs, they were beating each other and pushing each other and we are talking here of really huge men before long approximately 15 men were involved. So you could say there was a big uprising in the Uprising
