As the sun was shining so brightly I decided to take my two little dogs on a walk down to the Newbridge Fields in Bridgend. I crossed the river bridge and I was surprised to see what looked to me like a row of French toilets on the grass opposite...
Closer inspection revealed them to be some sort of exercise equipment for the more mature person and someone had already nicked the pedals off the one structure! A number of people were inspecting them and I discovered they had been there for about 2 weeks. I didn't feel compelled to start exercising neither did the elderly gentleman out walking his dogs who chatted to me...

I think these things are a great idea. Britain is facing a huge problem whereby people are eating way too much and doing far too little exercise. Anything that helps raise the profile of doing some exercise each day can only be a good thing. In China, towns and cities have parks full of free exercise equipment and they are always packed with people training away, so all we've got to do in Britain is change people's mindsets and get them off their fat arses!
Well my fat arse will not be tempted!
