Piano on the rebound

Posted by Boudica on November 6, 2007 5:18 PM |

About 3 years ago I decided to sell my piano. It had cost me an arm and a leg to buy for my daughter quite a few years before and I expected that it would have lost some of its value but I wasn't prepared for the extreme drop in price...

I didn't have one enquiry, so I decided to give it to a member of the family. My neice Jaqueline decided that she would have it for her daughter Alex.

I had a telephone call from them last week to say that Alex was playing a little portable electric piano and that they didn't need it anymore. What did I want them to do with it ...I didn't have the heart to tell them to sell it on my behalf...so here I sit with the piano back in its original place in the middle room, funny it reminded me of a friend returning home.

Having said that if there is anyone out there who needs a piano and will make me a reasonable offer......

How did you get the piano back to yours? They weigh a ton, and I can't imagine that you moved it on your own.

Well, the agreement was when I wanted it back I would pay for the removal van but as they wanted to send it back early they paid for them.
