I took my new van to get the key sorted out, we held our breath when he tried it in the lock as if it did not fit it meant that I would have paid approximately £50 and the key would have had to have been thrown away...
It fitted...I did a little dance...all in all it cost me £94 but I was so relieved that I had managed to secure a spare key, the price didn't seem to be that important.
I asked Chris the owner of the garage if he thought I had a good deal on the van. "How much did you pay for it?" he asked "One thousand five hundred pounds" I replied "It's straight" he offered "Straight as opposed to bendy?" I queried. He looked at me very oddly and said "No, it seems okay, straight"
So there you are then I have got a straight van, thank goodness.
