Martha is off to Thailand soon so we jump at the opportunity to meet up whenever we can and as it happens everyone had a day off so we decided to celebrate with a nice meal out.
We chose a lovely pub overlooking the valley, splendid views good food. I ordered my usual glass of water only to be told that they didn't have tap water I would have to buy bottled water. Now, I don't know about you but that really upsets me when they refuse to give me tap water. I charged up to the bar to demand the reason why...apparently they are on a water from a well...and not allowed to sell it to the public.
It seemed pretty far fetched to me but a warning look from my girls made me bite my tongue as I didn't want to ruin a lovely day out by asking for certification and clarification, so I sat down and drank my drink in silence.

Call me stubborn if you like but I won't be going there again unless I have a bottle of water in my bag as honestly it is a pet hate of mine paying for water.

I'm with you on this one, Vic. As you know, it all comes down to these establishments wanting to gouge more money out by charging WAY TOO much for drinks.
Pass on my best wishes to Martha for her upcoming world tour, which should include Japan!
Oh, and I loved the photo of you bonnie girls!
