Father Christmas

Posted by Boudica on December 10, 2007 5:07 PM |

I took Casey my 2 year old grand-daughter to visit Techniquest today, at the desk we were informed that Father Christmas was upstairs if she would like to see him.

We were given an alloted time and when we arrived I was glad to see there wasn't a queue and the Santa groto was full of exciting things, penquins, bears, elves tea party and of course Father Christmas himself.
I am used to being in horrendous queues and just having a few minutes to say 'Hi' and 'Bye' to the great man but on this occasion he took time encouraging Casey to take her head out of my shoulder and talk to him.
She was delighted to have a pretty package off him, inside was a little pink torch and being Techniquest it didn't work off batteries, it could be charged by pulling a trigger like a gun. I resolved there and then that every year Casey and I will go to Techniquest to see Father Christmas as it was the best set up and the most patient Father Christmas I have ever seen in my life.
