The pimp and the biker bitch....

"What have you got suitable for a fancy dress party?" queried my lodger Chris. He was amazed when I dumped a nun's costume, spider costume and other assorted bits at his feet...but he caught sight of my designer coat and as he oggled it he remarked "that would make a great pimp's coat"

Sex in the...

I wish they would stop referring to Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City star) as an ageing siren! How absolutely rude! She has an amazing character and makes Samantha real and funny. I for one am certainly looking forward to the film being released at the end of May, so much so that.....

The Trifid in the front garden

Martha and Scott gave up on the root of an tough old plant, it has been getting on my nerves under the front room window for ages. I called out an expert. He had to take an electric saw to it.

Down and Dirty.

Martha and Scott have discovered a whole new way of living in Thailand. They don't like hanging around anymore they like to get down and dirty. Martha cleaned my windows and the two of them attacked the front garden with the type of energy I lost 5 years ago.....

The intrepid travellers return

I hid behind two big Asian women at the arrivals gate. I had planned to follow them and tap them on the shoulder. But as soon as I spotted them coming through the door Martha and I locked eyes. I couldn't believe she saw me straight away.

Having a bath in the back garden!!!

It was time for the yearly bath, the sun was shining and Samui was whiffing more than a little, my lodgers and my daughters had complained about his unsavoury stench so I thought it was time the poor little mite had a wash.

Fond memories.

I have had the most dreadful of weekends. I haven't suffered from a headache in years and years but trying to control my emotions this weekend, coupled with appearing happy and cheery in birthday parties, completely drained me of all my energy and gave me a thumping head.
My mother's bungalow has been sold and is now occupied by someone else. It has been a long drawn out affair and with the credit crunch predicting doom and gloom in the housing market we were fully expecting the buyer to pull out yet again.

Baby Flynn

At last I was able to take photographs of the new arrival in the family. My lodger Chris took pity on me and gave me a lend of his camera.

Shaun of the dead polling stations.

I arrived at my Spanish lesson in St. Athan today, walked past the toddler group, through the hall into the portocabin at the rear. I noticed that some of the students were missing but apparently they had been successful in gaining jobs as poll clerks.
